Know of any old-fashioned department stores still around?

Well GC Murphy's is now a Dollar General,Murphy Mart is now a Peeples,a near by Ben Franklin sits empty.Sadley nothing has survived,only a memory.They have even closed off and covered over the basement at the GC Murphy store.Even our old news stand where we bought comics at is now a coffee shop

Anyone ever been to a Pamida store? There's one in the town I grew up in and I hear it's like a Mattingly's/Matco/Ben Franklin kind of place, but I've never been in it. Those places and K-Mart were where I got all my toys growing up.

The only Pamida I've seen in years is is Newton Falls . Must have forgot to shut that one down.
