Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory in Smell-O-Vision

We were able to get to a showing last night of Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory in Smell-O-Vision.

Basically you are handed a bag with goodies such as Chocolate, bubble gum, bubbles, fabric that smells of tobacco and laundry soap, ginger candy and some extra candy.
Instructions are displayed on the film on the lower third and lyrics are chyroned to encourage people to sing. Best time I've ever had seeing this film and we watch it at least once a month on the homefront. Totally blast!
So wonderful to see the next generation of children being exposed to this classic film.

One interesting thing was the trailer they showed before hand, an edited version of The Great American Chocolate Factory short. Super 70's!!

Highlight for me is when you first see the chocolate river room. A guy dressed up as an Oompa Loompa is waving these things that give off the scent of chocolate.
Another highlight is the bubbles. Fun to see a theater full of bubbles.

Check it out if it plays in your town.
