I always hated Erik Estrada...so that answers your question...lol.
Baretta came from the original and grittier Toma starring Tony Musante...but Musante refused to do a second season...so they got Robert Blake to do a milder and gentler version called Baretta.
Having said that...as a kid...I liked Baretta more...lol.sigpicComment

Wasn't Baretta aimed more at adults? I watched a pretty good amount of Chips, but Baretta was never on my radar..
I was all about Emergency and Adam-12 in my younger days. Chips was amongst the next generation of shows I watched two or three yrs later..Comment

Erik Estrada was awesome! Wanted to be like him, have a killer apartment in Marina Del Rey full of hot single sexy women, but drive the car Jon had, a MK3 Mini Cooper S.
Plus where else will you see a disco stud sing "Celebration" at a punk battle of the bands gig and have the crowd cheer. LOL.Comment
