I like Reynolds.....I thought he has been pretty decent in a lot of things I really liked him in blade.I get the feeling he is a pretty boy but I am not looking to date him so I don't care.

Gerard Butler is my go to guy when I want old school Eastwood or Wayne type films.
He is the new tough guy/action guy for me.

I don't remember Lynch Mobs On Arine ...., and All He could do Was Act Like a Complete Bad Arse, with a Body Count to Match. I dunno If I remember Much " Great Acting there". Plus, I've Pretty Much Enjoyed Every Role Reynolds Has Ever Been in, that I've seen thus Far. And Think He will be Great as GL ..., Plus sorta Fits Hal Jordans Character , if One Actually Reads the Books.

I really Hated the FF4 Flicks, But If I had to cast a Single Shining Light, Other Than Jessica's Bra And Pantie Scene in the 1st Film, It Would Be Evans as Torch. I like them both.

Now, if you were to have an obnox-off between the two, I think Reynolds wins based on experience. Both actors have a handle on smarmy and smartass. That's partof their appeal. The only reason we get funny threads like this is because they are both, at the same time, going into quasi-serious roles with huge exposure. Their strengths and weaknesses are going to be glorified next Summer.

I don't think Reynolds is incompetent for the type of rolls he gets. He has some skill with delivery, and somewhat memorable in the fluff he makes. I have no idea if he's going to work as a superhero.

Nothing about Chris Evens is memorable to me. In fact every time I hear his name I have to think to where I know it from.

I'll vote Ryan Reynolds. I still see him as a steroirded up clone of Jason Lee. I mean really in ALL of his roles does he not seem to act just like "Brodie" in Mallrats?
