Laverne and Shirley Appreciation Thread..

Since we have a Happy Days Appreciation thread I thought id post a Laverne and Shirley appreciation thread. Ive been watching this as well on The Hub latley.
Now that im older I get alot of the sexual jokes they made on the show.
I always liked this shows in the begining but when they moved to california I couldn't stand it anymore.

I always laugh at the Happy Days episode where Fonzie fakes his death and as Squiggy looks over his casket says "He was the nicest guy who ever beat me up."

Lenny & Squiggy helped move that show into yet another favorite series for me as well....

Agree with them moving to California. Just hated that restaurant that Frank had. Was use to him being the guy who had the bowling alley/pizza parlor.

Loved L&S too, but not as much as Happy Days. And I always liked Shirley better.

As a 14-ish year old back in the day I "liked" Shirley better.

Today though, I like Laverne better

I'm enjoying the episodes so far on the Hub....I under-appreciated them back in the day...but I know the shark jumping is coming eventually and I won't be able to stomach when that hit LA and everything crumbles apart.

I enjoyed L&S over Happy Days but loved them both. That was a great line-up. Was it Thursday nights?
I think Laverne without Shirley was actually pretty funny. It felt very I Love Lucy-ish to me although you knew the show was about to get the axe because you can't have Laverne & Shirley without a Shirley.
