I'm more of an O and A guy but I've spent a long time listening to Stern, surprised he signed up again.

More of an Imus guy myself, pre TV that is. I miss the funny stuff Don and the crew used to do. Wilford Brimley and the Quaker Oats bit still make me cry. Stern, never was a fan. Understand his appeal but find it old and tired really quick. Still Bravo Howard for still getting paid crazy money for the same tasteless joke you started 30 years ago.Comment

I haven't been able to listen Much in the Last few Years.
Last I Heard ..., Artie Got soooo Damn Drunk, He decided to Stab Himself like 50 Times.
Anyone Know what happened next ?
Is He ok, & did He return ?
I thought Artie Brought a Humor Sence the The Show Not Present Before. If the Joke pointing Direction went towards Him, or If it was someone Else, I thought He was a riot.
my Funniest Serious Moment, is When they Gave John The Studderer His Own Call In Show. That Made me Laugh So Damn Hard when I heard it ..., I was in Tears Driving Home from Work. Needless to say, I got a Ton of looks too.Last edited by BlackKnight; Dec 9, '10, 9:53 PM.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

Still a great show, I listen everyday! Now there will be apps available so you can listen on your phone....
The joke they pulled on Sal this morning made him cry, it was radio gold!

I started listening to him back in the 80's when he was in DC 101 and followed him all the way to Sirius. I ended up landing a job 10 miles from home close to 5 years ago and decided to cancel my subscription because I was only listening to it about 10-15 minutes each way. Kudo's to him. They basically built the foundation around him and probably realize that his content is one of the main drivers of subscription radio."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

I should grow out my hair again and take a picture for everyone to see. When my hair is long it gets kind of curly and I look just like Howard Stern! (the large nose and being Jewish adds to it, LOL!) It is scary to say the least. I have had my hair long off and on in the past and actually got used to people asking me "Do you know who you look like?" Too bad I don't have a big contract like Howard does.

Great news, I really didn't want to subscribe to a podcadt (although I would have). People who think he is just fart jokes and strippers just don't listen to him. He's had the best run of his career the past 5 years, and continues to be the best and most interesting interviewer in any media. Hard to believe I've been listening to him for over 27 years now, but I'm happy I can continue to subscribe to Sirius, cause it is so much better than terrestrial radio its not even funny.

If it's another 500 mil it's a mistake for Sirius. The first 500 mill contract was a good investment. They were behind xm and Howard brought in 6 million subscribers, but that was because he has a huge following and he paid for his contract the first year. But most people now realize how killer Sat radio is, that very few would leave if he left and he won't draw in 500 mill worth or anywhere close to that from here on out.Comment
