My favorite song of theirs was and still is It's All Mixed Up

Killer song from a killer album.

I can say a LOT of nice things about THE CARS... but this one is kinda double-edged.

Their first album is just incredible .... not many rock albums come near it,
unfortunately that includes the bulk of the rest of the Cars' own
      discography.

      They still rule!

I like their first album so much when it was first released on CD I bought a copy so early that it's an American CD but the disc was made in Japan.

        Still have it.

^^ A lot of the early CDs were printed up in Japan but earlier CD released were pressed up in Germany. I think the first commercial released CD was Billy Joel.
The first Beatles CD "Abbey Road" was pressed up in Japan long before it was finally issued on CD in America and UK.
Most of my older CDs are from Japan and I would always procure imports of albums since they were not domestically available yet.

Best cover version of All Mixed Up IMO is Red House Painters.

                I was just kidding

It's just a little too slow and different for my taste

As much as I raved about the debut being their best album...
I'll say my favorite track is HELLO AGAIN (from HEARTBEAT CITY).

Band is being cryptic about it other than 2011.

So if the Cars can reunite....why can't Talking Heads!

Glad that the Cars are back. Hope it lasts a few years.

The Cars were one of the greatest bands of rock n roll that rarely get the credit they deserved. I own all of their recordings and I have always admired their music.
