Lots of the classics for me . . we had an album called "Christmas is . . " it had most of the old standards sung by the "greats". My favorite on that was O Holy Night by Andy Williams. It had Merry Christmas Darling by the Carpenters and the title track was sung by the Hillside Singers (from the old Coke commercials)
Fast forward about 5 years ago I came upon a vintage record store and went in to browse . . . . I found a mint copy of Christmas Is! It's now copied in MP3 form and has been distributed to my family.

Christmas with the King Family. It was a staple growing up in my home and I continue
        the tradition with my family

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I had a Christmas album as a kid and the song that I remember liking the most was the song "Up on the Housetop" that is now used in the Hyundai commercials. I wish I remembered the album name....

Well my parents were divorced when I was only 4 so I technically had two different "traditions" in terms of Holiday music. I myself always loved "Alvin & The Chipmunks" Chirstmas albums Volumes 1 and 2. My Mom always like Elvis' Christmas record and my Dad likes Burl Ives. I love all of the above around the Holidays although The King hasn't gotten too much love in recent years.

Every year we would gather around the record player for Merry Monster Xmas...A snippet of the carol from the album...
                          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuFdSBWY6r4

The rest of the album is basically Len Maxwell doing little skits. It drives my wife nuts now when I play it but I think the kids are starting to enjoy it...

He did a re-version of it recently that kinda sucks in my opinon.

Gayla Peevey was about 10 years old when she performed on WKY-TV here in OKC. The president of WKY sent a tape of her performances to Columbia Records and she wound up getting a contract and recording that song with The Mitch Miller Orchestra.

That song was featured in a campaign to raise money to buy a Hippo for the Oklahoma City Zoo. The nearly $3000 was raised by school children across the state (mostly in nickels and dimes!!). On Christmas Eve 1953, the children of Oklahoma City got a Hippopotamus for Christmas when Matilda arrived. Gayla Peevey was on hand to present Matilda as the "Hippopotamus for Christmas".

Matilda spent the next 45 years of her life at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
