anybody else an autograph nut...

I just want to bend everyone's ear and see if anyone else out there is an autograph person like I am.
I started back in the early 80's going to comic book shows ( back when they where good AND free) by getting stacks of comic signed from everyone imaginable. in the last 10-15 years I have been doing shows and other crazy things like voice actors etc.
if your every interested in some great sites for addresses : startiger.com( formally stararchive.com) and voicechasers.com are the best by far. voice chasers has great lists of cartoons and cross-references with other shows. I'm still working on shows like Robotech, superfriends, EWOKS . transformers, and others. they are all greta people and love to sign.
I love the MEGO info on here and i'm research who I can get for my collection. Any info for be greatly appreciated.

Back in the early 90's I started getting into autographes and still have my collection. Got out of it around '97. Most of what I collected had nothing to do with comics or toys though. I used Star Archive quite a bit before they turned it into a pay site. That was kind of a turn off.

I still am a little,when ever i go to a convention I try and get some,but after the prices have gone up to $20-$50 a person it's pretty hard to get a lot,I remember like 4 years ago Adam West charging $75,not that he's not worth it,but come on

Several autographs from my fave band, The Jenerators: Billy Mumy, Miguel Ferrer, David Jolliffe, Tommy Hebenstreit, Gary Stockdale (yes, most of them are actors!)

I collect autographs from the actors from the 1966 Batman show and I have my cd's signed whenever I meet a band I like

I used to get autographs at various NY/NJ collectable shows a few years back, but I always wanted to take a picture with the celeb, too. Now, they have raised their prices, plus want an extra fee to take a picture with you. So, I have really cut down my autograph buying.

I love collecting Autographs but It has to be signed by the person in front of me and It has to be personally signed for me.I've never had a problem with taking pics with the celebrity they've never charged me for that.

It's changing a bit now,mostly the top celeb's of the conventions are doing it.I know Linda Blair charged me $10 for a pic but it was for a good cause..the helping dogs thing she does.This year I saw Shawnee Smith charging $10 as well
