I have still met people that are all caught up into Christmas that have never seen this! It is my christmas classic. Moreso than the popular ones.

I remember watching it as a kid (I'm pretty sure it was on HBO???) and when I found it airing again years later I was ecstatic. I have it taped on a VHS somewhere.

I have the Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas on DVD. My cousin gave it to me a couple of years ago. I loved it as a kid and it really, really holds up seeing it again as an adult. There was a Jim Henson exhibit at one of the museums here in Atlanta that included some of the original critters from the movie as well as information about the filming. What an amazing guy. Emmet Otter remains one of my favorite things that he ever did.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Love this! I remember it on Home Box Office (HBO) when I was a little kid. Now, I own it on DVD. A cult classic!

Yep, I first seen it on HBO too.

They also used to play the Rich Little Christmas Carol too

I picked up the DVD at Walmart a couple of weeks ago and I can't wait to watch it.

(Well, I guess I could watch it at anytime, but I'm waiting until I can sit down with my niece and nephews.)
