Would that be The Paul Hogan Show? The guy who created Crocodile Dundee?

I think I remember that. Hated it. It seemed to be broadcast at a time-slot with The Kids From C.A.P.E.R. and a show where a guy had a customized Taxi and was the guardian of his little sister.

As for what shows kids went on about but I never cared for .......

          Charlie's Angels
          Baretta
Starsky and Hutch --- i'm only discovering it now
Roots --- thought it was crazy boring back in the day --- but I like it a lot today.
          Space 1999 (see Roots)
Ditto... with the exception of Space: 1999. Loved it then, still love it today.

And as for Benny Hill, I still have a huge crush on Louise English.

I had a TV show I would run home for to catch, which all my friends hated, and was called "Vision On". I would kill to get those episodes on DVD now.

For those of you who have missed out on a children's television masterpiece:

And yes, it's the same "Sylveste McCoy" who would later become Doctor #7.
