I come from a family of avid shooters and hunters, but that's a new one to me. I've killed my fair share of creatures, mostly pheasant and quail, but I've never heard of prairie dog season. That's funny. So when are turtle, chipmunk, ardvaark and cow seasons?
Scott
Hubby goes to South Dakota once a year to shoots prairie dogs on a big cattle ranch. The ranchers want them gone because of the diseases they carry and holes that cattle step in.
Chipmunk season begins whenever the little pests get in the pole barn or hanger.
