I have Facebook and Myspace

Yeah, i`m a member but I hardly use it. I find it all a bit tedious. Every time I turn it on somebody has sent me some other stupid application - zombies, aquarium, drink, fun wall and so on and so on and so on.....

It seemed a bit exciting at first but it soon became very slow. I even started a group and joined a couple more but I find I just don't have the tolerence for it. I'd rather use forums - they seem a bit more instant.

It`s a bit like friends reunited - if they were still really friends I would have stayed in touch - I don`t want to track somebody down just because I knew them a bit at school. (I sound like a right misery don`t i? )

I have also noticed that the aim of some people is to do nothing more than have as many `friends` as possible.

It would be very easy to start a `Mego appreciation society` as an outlet to talk Mego but there would be no point as that place already exists - it`s here.

I have absolutely no desire to use either Facebook or Myspace (but have friends who are practically addicted). I guess I'm just too old to give a rat's arse about those sites.
