    Who cares about Heroes anymore?

Anyone else having trouble with this show this season? I'm so bored and irritated by everything about it. None of it makes sense, the character's actions and decisions are baffling, they are just stringing it out even worse than before. And after last Monday's episode it looks like they are just replaying last season's crisis with a virus instead of a bomb. WooHoo.

Battlestar has been delayed until April, BTW. Argh!

We're in the same boat, it feels like a sophmore slump IMO. We didn't even remember it was on this week.

Thanks for the downer BSG news, someone is not going to be happy in my house....

Season 1 started off slow. I wasn't sure I was going to like it until about the fourth episode. I won't say it's bad, but it's not as good for sure.

Thing is if it were a cop show done at this level as far asscript, acting and direction is concerned, i'd have been done a long time ago, but I love the genre so I stick with it.

It will fill in the time I have to wait for Lost to start.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I'm still enjoying the show.

Still checking it out but not as much as last season. Just not as exciting as it once was to me.

I stopped watching each week. I dvr the episodes then watch 2 episodes back to back when i get the time. My evenings are so busy I rarely have time to sit down and watch a show straight through. The exception to that rule will be on Sunday night when the Amazing Race starts up again.

I gave up after a few months of it. It got boring and seemed like I had already seen some of this stuff played out in other stories. It got old fast and I am betting after the new car smell wears off this show, it won't be on much longer.

I didn't really watch it last year, but started watching this year. I really like it.

I am ****ed about the BSG news. I also can't wait for Lost to start up.

Me and my wife pretty much gave up. We'll try again next week but if it doesn't get any better I think we're done!

I just started watching the dvd release, the first two episodes hooked me. It'll take me a bit to catch up.

I agree with Scott. Heroes has been really disappointing this season.

I'm tired of the constant introduction of new characters with amazing powers. Every week it seems like they bring in some new hero... it reminds me about how Marvel Comics kept developing mutant characters after X-men took off, to the point it seemed like there were fewer normal people than there were mutants in the Marvel Universe.

The problem boils down to them having too many characters and a limited time in which to develop them, so eventually, viewers like me end up not caring about any of them anymore. Heroes is trying to be too many things to too many people, and they should have just stuck with the core characters (Hiro, Peter, Claire, Matt and Sylar) and their families. (I hated the Nikki storyline and, even though he's set up to be the glue of the show, I am really tired of Mohinder, too.)

I don't like the new characters, either, except maybe for that Irish girl. Just as an example, I have very little sympathy for the crying death girl... why am I supposed to pity someone who's killed dozens of people? It's ridiculous.

So's the fact that two unmarried grown heterosexual men are somehow allowed to have this prepubescent young girl live with them... doesn't Molly Walker have any family at all? I can suspend disbelief over the most unrealistic mutant powers, but the minor plot points the show gets wrong drive me nuts. The whole notion that Mohinder's father was able to magically track down and compile a complete list of people with altered genetics is baffling and doesn't make sense at all on any level.

I have to admit that the show might pick up a little bit more if Mr. Bennet shows more of his evil side like he did in the last episode.

I gave up on them after the 1st show. It felt too much like copy of the X-Men

Steve, you are right on about everything you said. Mohinder in particular has never done anything that made sense to me, they've never explained where that map came from or how they track these people down.

Bleeding eyes death girl? Gross and irritating. Incredible coincidence finding Sylar lying in the road, but it's a comic book, fine.

The Peter storyline, while incredibly annoying, at least has some potential for superhero antics, what with the lightning girl and Peter's collection of powers and his new super hero look (someone spent a lot of time with his personal trainer in the off-season, eh?)

They seem to be depending a lot on not explaining what happened to everyone between seasons. But rather than creating drama and mystery it's leaving me confused and I'm not interested enough to figure it out.
