    Herbie the Love Bug

It inspired me to try popping a wheelie with my car for the last 30 years.

    Still never happened yet.

Dukes of Hazzard inspired me to try to jump my bike as a kid. Never worked out as well as I'd hoped.

Alex P Keaton inspired me to register as a Republican when I turned 18.

Superman inspired me to stay humble and use whatever talents I had without showing off.

Marv from Sin City 'inspired' me to handle my business in the same way that he does - a couple of those scumbags over the years might have GOT me if not for Marv's 'inspiration' !

Frodo, Luke Skywalker, and Neo have all inspired me to be a whiny wuss who lets everyone else handle everything.
Of all the souls I have encountered his was the most...human.

Indiana Jones. He just made me want to travel to jungles, oceans and deserts to seek adventure outside the everyday norm. I feel lucky that I have done that with my life. Indy planted that seed in me when I was a kid. Him and Jacques Cousteau.

The Professor on Gilligan's Island. Inspired me to enjoy science, create new things, and learn from the earth around you.

Also, to keep your hands off the Ginger- and MaryAnn-types..

Got an excellent email from Russell Johnson himself a few years back, actually calling me 'sir' due to my military rank, and thanking me for my support of our Veterans.., from an email I sent him thanking him for a recent autographed glossy from his site.

He was a WWII combat aviator over Germany before becoming an Actor.
