Well, my SS package arrived today, and I have to say that Santa was pretty good to me this year. Some Trailer Park Boys, a couple of power rings (which really work. I have to go apologize to my cat for the big green boxing glove to the mush ), a Pez, and some comics. Look at the sweet Sub Mariner. There's also a Mr Fantastic being shot at by laser cannons, and a little Hulk figure that I'm pretty sure will come to life when I'm asleep and wreak havoc throughout my house.

Thanks Santa! I think I'll go watch some TPB while drinking the beer and scratching off the lottery ticket the wife & kids got me.

Wow, I am very sorry to hear that Bill.

And... several notes have been sent to the naughty Santa reminding him that he volunteered for this FUN event; some of these notes he even replied to. I am especially surprised that this Santa would pm you personally about this Bill, and then still not come through.

I do hope I do not have to resort to naming names as this really is a fun thing to participate in. As I stated in post #1

....but really - this is a fun thing and I am a volunteer coordinator, not a watch dog. So if you can't get to the post office with a gift in the next three weeks.....

I am the 'bad Santa' in question here.

I'm just now noticing these recent posts from concerned members, and frankly, I am terribly embarassed as this behaviour is NOT like me at ALL......

Due to 'life circumstances', I have barely breezed through here as of late. This has been a pretty lousy season for us here, beginning about a month or so ago. Between EXCESSIVE gigs/work, coming down from one of the worst flus that I have had in my life, and spending a lot of time with the old man, (Not sure if I mentioned this before, but he has cancer and isnt long for this earth, so I have been going over when I can to help out and sit with him..) It's been one gray, dismal period for me. Having said this however, I'm certainly not attempting to make an "excuse", only to be truthful and explain myself to the folks that I OWE stuff to. I dont consider myself a 'flake' when it comes to bnusiness dealings, and no way in HELL am I some sort of CROOK that would take another person or be dishonest in the community, no way in hell.

Fire Marshal Bill - Again, let me apologize right off the BAT here sir, rest assured that your (horridly LATE) gift will be as sweet as I'm able to make it, and I hope that it is WORTH the wait!

...and Pedro, not to worry either mi amigo, like I told you in my last PM, your box is swelling with extras. (This guy is a saint and nothing but kind and friendly...we have traded a half dozen times in my few months as a member here, and though several trades have 'overlapped' each other, I owe him some Star Wars figures from a month ago.....really unacceptable on my part...)

On a very MINOR note, I was supposed to be sending this 'tiny Batman' to someone as well, only I havent seen them here in a while....the person had a picture of The Thing as their avatar...?

Again guys, I'm very sorry for my late shipping and for my seemingly irresponsible behaviour, please watch your PM boxes tomorrow night for your confirmation codes. See, typically this is a BUSY time of year for me, mass holiday dinners and affairs and all, but THIS season has been particularly BRUTAL. It may not SEEM so, but when you only have a few hours a week to yourself, and the post office is on the other end of the city, it makes things ugly....I have been far more concerned with corned beef for 50 and what sort of micro ales are to be served at the reception than I have been about anything else, but I should have MADE some damned time before NOW... (Finally have a minute to BREATHE...the old man has his wife and his hired nurse in check, we are BOTH off work for the next two days, and I'm feeling in top-form physically, its like the stars have aligned, heh.)

Thank you guys for maybe not excusing, but for understanding my recent preoccupation. I'll make things right, no worries.

OH - Museum cards - I have a few that should have been sent...Monsterama2000, are they yours, or am I mixed-up??

Mr. Krusher, i am truly sorry to hear of your unfortunate recent life circumstances. Understandably, life takes precedence over a message board. I think it was mostly the lack of communication that has kept myself and rche wondering if you were going to follow through with a Secret Santa gift. I'm sure when i receive my gift that i will enjoy it, no matter what it is. Thanks for owning up and clearing the air.
