Potter thread

So ventured out and took my daughter to the midnight show. Liked it but it's got some comical wisecracks and other stuff that I think takes away from what should be a darker movie. I won't go into detail about this chapter but anyone that's seen the others will know that the series has gotten continually deeper and darker as it has progressed. I would have preferred more violence truthfully.

Wondering what anyone else, that sees it, thinks about it.

Just saw it. Very dark; well made; great acting from the kids. They've really grown up to be fine actors. I agree with Megocrazy that it could have been a little more intense, but I would've preferred that as a faster pace instead of more violence. Well, OK - maybe a little more violence.

I am going tomorrow as well, I read something that the 2nd part is more action and violence and that we will see a bunch of people die in the movie

Excited, but still have to watch the last one. Read the books, so nothing new....but the movies are fun.

Perfect casting and the actors didn't turn into druggies or weird looking adults.....

I've never seen one Harry Potter movie. Don't really know why.

A lot of major characters cease to exist in the next one. Only one major buys it in this part.
