Elvis apparently didn't care much for him.
Except for a couple of Christmas carols, I can't remember the names of any songs Robert Goulet sang. He had a nice voice, but he was a boring entertainer.Comment

Yeah, the only thing I remember about the guy is Elvis hated him and pulled out a nine millimeter gun and shot one of his televisions sets when he was on TV. I seriously have never heard of the guy until I read his name in a book someone wrote about Elvis is the 80s.

Goulet seemed like the singing Adam West. Over the top, and somewhat campy, he had a career resurgence poking fun at himself. By all accounts, he seemed like a cool guy, with one heck of a deep voice. A real shame.
What did Elvis have agains this guy?

I was sad to see him go. One more from an era that's slowly turning to dust. Who's next? Newton? Jones?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
