Anybody else NOT watch Television ?

I watched enough Cable and MTV in the 1980s to last me. No Tv since then.

    Never read a newspaper either.

I don't watch much new TV (Batman B&B and Deadliest catch are pretty much it) but I couldn't live without my dvd's of old programs

Ironically I don't watch very much. Actually the lack of "anything on" inspired me to do my own thing. I do like Smallville but rarely get to catch it at broadcast. I really think the "on Demand" abilities paired with too many choices have kind of killed the specialness of television as we knew it. Shoot, even I've got a TV show

The only TV I watch is football, really. I think TV kinda sucks nowadays. Too much reality TV. I DO however, watch shows from the 70's on DVD all day long, while I'm working. Planet of the Apes, the Krofft stuff, Buck Rogers, Galactica, SMDM, etc...

I don't watch TV very much, only the odd cheese show like X-Factor and any Liverpool FC Soccer matches.

I rarely watch TV broadcasts ... When I do it's usually documentaries or the news.

I usually watch DVD's when the TV is turned on.

Our household doesn't watch any broadcast television or on demand.
Just have a TV for movie watching from disc or digital file.

We have movie night on Fridays or Saturdays depending on what other things are on deck. No broadcast programming, or on demand, or tivo here tho.

I don't have cable or a TV antena, so I don't pick up any stations. If I had cable, I'd never get anything done (yeah, as if I ever get anything done! )

I do watch DVDs of TV shows that I like.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

So much of what I watch today is cable news, little in the way of Network TV and old movies and TV shows.

Sundays.....Football, Simpsons, other cartoons, (DVR: Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Eastbound and Down, and Bored to Death).

Mondays....Football or hockey, wrestling (once in a blue moon) and three hours of Family Guy if nothing else (background noise)

Tuesdays....Um, nothing....three hours of the Office in the background....

Wednesdays....sports or catch up on DVRed shows

Thursdays...sports, The Office, 30 Rock, DVRed shows....

                              Fridays....What Would You Do?

                              Saturdays.....sports....

I also watch King of the Hill at 10 and 1030 weeknights if nothing else is on. My wife watches the food network ALL DAY if she's home. But we just keep the tv's on and do all of our own work (I draw and write, she cooks and reads....). I can't stand when a television isn't on.
