HELP! I need info on doing a DVD quality slide show...

I know there are a lot of talented folks on here and I hope that someone can point me in the right direction. I made a video that's basically a slide show using windows movie maker and it got posted on YouTube. It looks ok for YouTube, but now we're trying to get it on a DVD and I have no idea how to do that. I have the original print-quality images and the audio, but how do I re-create this thing for a DVD?

I have no clue about Windows movie maker and it's output options. I'd try to maybe get my hands on Adobe After Effects, or Motion for something like that.

Jim would probably know for sure!

I'm guessing anything with 'Adobe' in the title is expensive. Is 'Motion' freeware?

I can never get a downloaded DVD into Windows Movie Maker (always says its the wrong format) ---so I wouldn't know how to do the opposite.

Unfortunately not - it's part of Final Cut.

Here's a step-by-step. What part of the process is messing up for you?

Burn a Movie Maker Project to DVD

Find someone with a Macintosh and use iMovie and iDVD. It's easy to use and quality is exactly what you want. I use it at work and for my personal stuff. One of these days I will learn Final Cut and run with the big boys. But for now, iMovie does everything I need. I am actually using it as we speak to do a small project.

Over the years, I've tried several times to make a DVD and failed every time. So, I guess it's the step where it actually burns to DVD. I was doing good just to get the edited video to play back on the computer.

What you want to accomplish will need to done in Flash and a photo editor tool to manipulate the photos.
