    Moebius Iron Man (altered)

I just finished this up . . . This model had a terrible pose, looked like a department store Mannequin. So I chopped him up and went with a flying pose complete with Stealth Armor & LED's. I will have more pics tomorrow.
    Enjoy . . . Jim

Jim, that's great. How did you "chop him up"? Was it easy to re-pose?

Jimmy, that's awesome. Successfully doing metallics and chromes is very tricky, and you did great. Usually the camera doesn't pick up on the sheen.

I've been wanting to do some vinyl kits for a while, but damn if they aren't pricey. You got any ideas where to buy some on the cheap?

BTW, after seeing this I expect your next custom/Meet figure to have LED lights. Nothing less will do.

Way to go Jim, this looks a helluva lot better than the original pose

The method I used, which I picked up from a guy at the Clubhouse modeling forum is actually pretty easy. The Alclad mettalics are out of this world! The gloss black is key to getting metallic to pop. Going back over it with with clear blue was nothing. Glad you like it and I appreciate your comments sir!

Scott, I think that is the Mobeius styrene kit. This guy has 2 versions on sale:

                $20

Iron Man Wonderfest Special Edition from Moebius Models

                $30

Iron Man mark II from Moebius Models

Those are good prices I paid around $30 for mine . . . . On the vinyl kits I've never bought one but they run anywhere from $30-$150. The resins/garage kits are what I've been building. Horion put out a bnch of vinyl kits a while back and you can still find them @ AmokTime and other online sources.
