The foreign captures the epic feel of the film. The domestic seems to "limit" the movie to a more "made for TV" or direct to DVD type thing. Just my two cents.

Damnit! I haven't had a chance to see the film yet!
At first glance I like the top one more, just based on the fact that it's cleaner and more interesting as a design, but it represents a slow-paced introspective movie in my mind.
The bottom one represents a sci-fi action movie better, to me. Even the tag line added that line about the galactic war - sells a more exciting image of the movie. I just think they went just a little overboard with all the photoshop effects on the text - and I think the text maybe could have been on top. Seems like it might get covered a little up on some types of store shelving.
In any case - AWESOME - I'm really looking forward to finally checking this out!Comment
