All kidding aside; one of the greatest gifts you can give this year if you are in the fortunate position to help out is to give to your local food bank. If you have any cash to spare; go to a grocery store or two (running specials) and donate it to your local food bank. Thanksgiving is a great time to pick up good deals...Wal-mart had great deals last year on Turkeys and I just constantly bought up to the maximum day after day until they were gone and gave them to the food bank. You would be surprised at how far $5 or $10 would go if you look around. I remember buying bags of beans 10 for $10, taking it over to the local food bank. It is a great experience if you have children to take them along to help buy the food and deliver it. It is one of the greatest things one can do.
