If I were rich I'd be a bad person, so I'm better off poor...

What would I do? Build a bigger toy room. I'm running out of space!

I'd build a huge mansion with a big underground canal that I could float a gondola around in. And I'd carry a fencing foil with me in the house, so I could carve Z's in the wallpaper when I felt like it.

Honestly - with lots of cash I'd still have the same interests and career. Probably go on vacation once in a while and get rid of the debt headaches that keep me up at night.
Well, Mom and dad both grew up on farms before moving to the city and having me. Rich is relative on a farm

I was really hitting it off with the Girl at first and just let my mind run ahead.

I'd go to college and get a degree in Fine Arts.

Get a condo that didn't cost the Earth, Moon, and Stars.

Start my own business, and try to market my own fashion doll/action figure.

Well I already own my own house and business and my own car. If I came into money I would expand my house by buying the house next to me. Then I'd buy the house next to that one. I want a swimming pool, jacuzzi, private gym, every wacky wobbler bobble head in a nice display case, an area for a dog, etc.

If it was enough, retire! Similar to another thread it doesn't mean I'd lay around all day either. I'd actually be happy to be LESS toys etc if I had to if the money meant I wouldn't have to work for someone else anymore. No more day to day B.S. and other people's short comings infringing of my personal time and sensibilities for that matter.

i'd buy myself a house ... or maybe payoff my parents home, and take that over (see I live with mommy and daddy right now while I'm going to school again ) not like I'd kick them out into a nursing home LOL. Either way I'd pay off my parents home for them.

then I'd put a fair amount in the bank ... enough to where I can pretty much live off it without having to have a "real job"

from there I would donate, stuff like keeping the local food bank stocked, if there's enough funds I'd like try and get some kind of low income housing going on. maybe try and help some small shops open up locally in silverton here. I'd keep my donations in my home town area ... I don't want to feed everyone just anywhere, keep the focus area small and make a bigger difference kind of thing

You don't need a lot of money for that, you just need like-minded neighbors. My wife and I bought five acres only accessible by fire roads about an hour and a half north of us a few years back. The smallest lot in the area was five, most are fifteen acre lots. The southern entrance to the area is manned by a Southerner with "Carpetbagger Go Home!" and various other signs on the dirt road heading into the "neighborhood," and the north entrance looks like you're driving into a horse farm.
I don't need millions, my list is very short:
                            Take the trash out naked
                            Let the dogs run
                            Fire off my guns

Once I have those three I know I've made it.
