Toys I loved BUT would never collect

Yo-Yos- Loved playing with them as a kid and got pretty good but have zero desire to have a yo-yo collection. I think if I did that would make me king of the geeks.

Plastic army men- They gave me tons of joy as a kid. Playing in the dirt battling to the death. Another toy that I think would make no sense to collect.

Slinky- Man I wore mine out on the stairs. Now though, they don't interest me.

Pez dispensers- Boy I liked that candy as a tike but actually think it wasn't as cool now as it was when I was young.

Hot wheels/Matchbox-As a kid I loved these things. They made me dream of one day owning a hot, muscle car. Reality check, I drive a Neon and will NEVER own many of the toy cars I had.

Anyone else have stuff they loved but would not collect now.

there is heaps of these for me, including Shogun Warriors, GI Joe,,Transformers and Ninja Turtles. I simply would have no room for them and I would rather spend my toy money on Mego.

It's weird I collect SW,tron, MASH, flash gordon, playdoh(classic toys) ,black hole, clash of the titans,Battlestar galactica,SHogun Warriors, Aliens and pretty much anything from the 70's , and in all that I skipped over everything MEGO except micronauts. I enjoy seeing everyone's collection but they don't appeal to me as a collectible.
I think if I started collected mego's I would just get the empty boxes because of the artwork etc. I have always loved the box art.

but i would love to have collected : MARX toys, pedal cars

I really love Legos, but OMG they take up so much space, I collected almost everything from the 80's but there was a few things that did slip past me

Eagle Force ( I always thought they were cool but every one I was about to get were all jacked up inside the package)

DC Select (man what great toys! JUST NO MORE ROOM!)

I would have loved to finish my Wheeled Warriors and Bravestar line but again avalibility and space played a big role in me finishing them! *sighs*

Marx Best Of The West--LOVED them as a kid, find them really boring today. I've even tried collecting them over the last 15 years.

Gabriel Lone Ranger- boring. I have a general aversion to most western themed toys

Hot Wheels- I can admire redlines and stuff today, specially the late 60's stuff but ultimately I'm not a "car" guy.

                      Weeble Wobbles

However, there are many toys from my youth that I don't currently collect that I could see myself getting into at some point. Shogun Warriors, Evel Knievel, Big Jim PACK, Monster toys, 3 3/4 inch lines etc etc.

Nothing really. The only toys I really loved as a kid were action figure, monster or Japanese robot related, and I like collecting all that stuff (of course, some of them, like 3 3/4" Star Wars, Big Jim or Gabriel Lone Ranger, I don't really have much of right now, but I plan to expand into them someday)

I found yet another thing I wish I could collect but have no room for them. 60's monster model kits. God those Aurora kits make me skip a beat, even today! Only one I have close to it is a "Polar Lights" repro of the Hulk (surprized?)

Man, the detail those old model kits had man, you kust can't beat it with a wet noodle.

Polar Lights re-issued most of the Aurora kits, and most recently Mobeus models just re-leased Mr Hyde!!

I dunno, I'm not always a completist, so I kinda have little bits of lotsa things; Legos, Playmobil people, pogs, marbles, and lots of other things. I'm sure glad I have a toyroom to store it all in!
