If you are a public Wi-Fi user...

Here is an article that was sent around at my girlfriend's company from the IT department. She works at Allrecipes.com and are smack in the middle of downtown Seattle so they are taking this very serious.
So if you use public Wi-Fi, please read:

Using Wi-Fi? Firesheep may endanger your security

For those interested in the fix(and Starbucks hasn't implemented it yet):

I shouldn't have any problems. I only use my DS to use Wi-Fi.

I've been informed from that this hi-jacking is real.
So all you folks that utilize Firefox will need to fix your leak.
Looks like the IT folks at MY work are having a field day with this.
Only Firefox users that are on an open Wi-Fi network.

I was going to send you this in private ZEMO, but thought others might benefit.
If you like cooking, here is the male version of allrecipes. My girlfriend helped bring it together and it's owned by allrecipes.

The exploit uses firefox, but it doesn't matter what browser you use to be vulnerable. The fix needs to be implemented on the web severs (using SSL) or the hotspot (using encryption).

Would be best to use encrypted hotspots or even encrypt your home hotspot.
I can pick up open hotspots from neighbors and cafes from our house.
Still like having my connection tethered for now.
