    Isn't it funny how...?

...when you are looking for something a movie or show to tape off the TV (or DVR in some cases) that you can never find it, but when you buy a copy, it's all over TV? That's what I've noticed w/ the 60s Batman movie, and now the TV series on the Hub.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

      Same here ......

Back in the 80's I set a whole day aside just to record The Yellow Submarine from TV.

They only played it once a year.

Sure enough, shortly afterward they released it on VHS.

Except the TV show as shown on cable these days is probably edited to death

I'd love it if someone put those awesome John Wilson cartoons on DVD.

Those were so beautiful and a HUGE part of my youth. I only wish that he could have done something with Steely Dan, they are one of my favorites.

Does anyone recall those? They were animated 'videos' to songs of the day. (And usually GOOD shi#)

Some of the animated videos were:

          Leroy Brown
          Angie Baby
          Both Sides Now
          Big Yellow Taxi
          Black and White
          Dark Lady
          CandyMan
          Cowboy's Work

SO awesome. They NEED to release this on DVD. They are compiled on a VHS called: "John Wilson's Fantastic All Electric Musical Movie" - My wife tells me that she saw the VHS at a shop in NYC for $50, so...
