I stopped at one of my local McD's after work today to pick up a McRib and they were out. The lady at the drive through told me they had already gone through their "stock" and they won't be getting any more in. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I knew they would only be around for a limited time, but it seems odd that individual restaurants would get a limited number.

I had a couple on vacation. Made the mistake of getting one at the McDonald's in Cooperstown. Of course there,you pay more.
