This is Ashton, as Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

Here he is standing next to the mask that the costume came with! Soooo glad I made an effort on his mask.

Ethan was Finn from Adventure Time. I slapped together his costume last night, so it could stand some improvements.

Andrew is Earth 2 Robin (or Robin from Batman: The Brave and the Bold), in a home-made costume. The only bought-part was the utility belt, which was just too cool NOT to use.

And believe it or not, this was HIS idea!

And here he is with his mentor. Not sure who that guy is.

Our school system stops the costume thing at 4th grade And even then, it isn't Halloween anymore but "Fall Harvest" parties and they had banned anything borderline "gruesome" like zombies. vampires, etc. Lameass....

Sharry, I REALLY want to see a picture of you as Superman. Please.

Scott, that Thomas is something else...my nephew Lucas would just die for that.

We got them at Party City. They are official Batman:The Brave and The Bold Utility Belts. They were marked down to $5, even though I had never seen them anywhere before.

Beware though, they aren't as sturdy as I thought. Andrew wore his to school yesterday, and the sections of the belt join at the capsules, forming a hinge of sorts. One side came loose, and the hinge piece broke. We had to tape it so Andrew could go to a party last night.

                Moi? Surely you jest!

Jessica, that Turtle mask is awesome. Did you make it yourself?

Scott, that Thomas costume runs over the commercial version. I saw a kid in one at the party we went to last night, and then came home and saw yours here. No comparison!!!

Yes, Chris. I sculpted Ashton's mask, poured an Ultracal30 mold of it, and slushed latex and painted it. It was my first latex mask and it was a good learning experience. I had trouble with the seams, and that's why everything is so last moment, because I did not know how to fix the problem. The teeth are made of white mesh that has black embroidery on it and serves as ventilation.

A couple of people took my pic at school, I'll see if they kept them.
