I'm pretty much a progressive rock/metal guy with leanings towards metal, but this band is just kicking my butt. THese guys are from Finland and are so deserving of recognition and success. Their sound is definitely rock, but has beautiful touches of melancholia, acoustic passages and incredibly refined lyrics. I think the right word is haunting. Definitely my best discovery of 2010, Just a badass band I thought I'd share. Here's some samples...

Also, their imagery used in the videos is insane. THey have a cool way of adapting the music video to fit the atmosphere of the song.
