two more Hanna Barbera titles from WB archives

two more titles from the Warner Bros archive collection in addition to thundarr and the Addams family 60's toon are now available:

    HANNA-BARBERA CLASSICS
THE FUNKY PHANTOM (1971) Animated teens Skip, April, Augie - and Elmo, their dog - meet up with Mudsy, a befuddled Revolutionary War spirit and his cat Boo. Together this gang solves mysteries and brings down the bad guys. You'll find a friend, friend, friend in the Funky Phantom, a 4-Disc, 17-Episode Hanna-Barbera Collection!

GOOBER AND THE GHOST CHASERS (1973-75) follows the globe-trotting, ghost-hunting adventures of Gilly, Ted and Tina and their reluctant, sometimes invisible pooch, Goober. Adding to the fun, animated versions of TV's Partridge Family kids appear in several episodes! All 16, half-hour episodes of this beloved Hanna-Barbera production come in this 4-disc set.

    NEAT!

I've always been a fan of the old HB B-listers.

The Funky Phantom is noteworthy because Micky Dolenz was a main cast member

Here's the opening titles to Funky Phantom, Thomas

They should give you an idea if you think you might like it or not.

He's an American Revolutionary ghost with a Snagglepuss voice --- and he has a ghost cat

I checked out Goober and the Ghost Chasers as well, they both look like a typical Scooby Doo cartoon, which I love. So I definitely would've watched this if this had been around back then

If I remember right, Micky Dolenz did voice work of Freaky Phantom.

Actually Micky played Skip, one of the kids. The Funky Phantom was voiced by the same guy (I think Daws Butler) who played Snagglepuss.
