Who is going to play the Hobbit?

Martin Freeman will be playing Bilbo. Currently he plays John Watson on the TV Series Sherlock. He played Arthur Dent in the feature version of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and is well know for the British version of The Office.
