Someone sent me a link to THE CLAP...I think it's one of the best rock songs I've ever heard. My band may cover it.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
That song is Great...., You should hear some of the other ones too. They Spoof a Ton of Styles of Music.
Cool.
I really look forward to hearing the other songs, just haven't gotten around
to it yet... I prefer the genre THE CLAP comments on (a kinda 70s glam rock style) but I'm open to hearing other stuff as well ...and of course I have to
see the actual movie too.

I watched it earlier this week, and it had some great laugh out loud moments. These Apatow comedies seem to have the formula down pat now with their slacker/stoner/geek characters injected into other genres.
ie) Pineapple Express was the Apatow mismatched buddy action movie, Super Bad was the John Hughes style movie, and now this is their take on the Almost Famous/Rock Star film.
I'm super curious if they can translate this tone into a Scifi or Horror movie.
