Actually, I think Orlando Bloom is the most successful in Hollywood history... add up his movies' worldwide gross and you'd get over $6 billion. He appeared in three of the top five. Daniel Radcliffe is probably #2.

I think Bloom is still higher than Anthony Daniels even if you do account for domestic U.S. gross only, but I didn't check the inflation-adjusted list.

Edited to add: I may be wrong... Daniels is higher on the domestic list, but it's within $100 million or so and I didn't add in Bloom's less popular movies.

Edited again: I'm not wrong... Bloom's more successful when you add in Black Hawk Down's $100+ million and Troy's $100+ million. Kingdom of Heaven and Elizabethtown add another $75 million or so to Bloom's total. Of course, that brings his total to more than six films, but I think, ultimately, the premise of the question is wrong.

The reason I went with Daniel Radcliffe was the clue said his 6 movies. I threw Orlando Bloom out because he has made more than 6 movies. However, the 5 Harry Potter movies have grossed more than all 6 Star Wars movies from the link (not adjusted for inflation) and knew December Boys was just released making it 6.

Either way, that was a great trivia question and would have never guessed it. I'd be willing to bet that Danielle Radcliffe had been paid more for his role in his 6 movies than Anthony Daniels

Mitch - I love to play. (especially if I win) BUT
1: I won once before (thanks again for the batmobile)
2: I have a full set of cards
            SO
either throw up a new trivia question or a first come first serve OR whatever

            THANKS!!!!!

btw I see some discussion over whether this is the best answer. There are a lot of ways to measure - total grosses added up, total nets, totals averaged over pictures made, inflation adjusted or not.

In the average per picture inflation included or not I am sure AD wins because he hasn't made movies other than SW. So it is like 6 billion divided by 6.
Most other actors of blockbusters have also done, flops, indies or unmemerable films that bring their avg. down.
