I couldn't get past part 2. It was just way too awkward for me. I kept thinking "poor Moss, it's like he's lost in another dimension."

"Meh". Pretty much sums it up. Why redo something that was done so well to begin with?

It would have been one thing to put their own spin on it, but it was a verbatim script and even had the original Moss transplanted into the American setting. I really like that actor and was hoping he'd push the envelope or try something different the second time around.

Even odder still because I can't help seeing the actor that plays Jeff Winger in Community as Jeff Winger transplanted into the IT Crowd setting.

I'm suspecting this was a product of the writer's strike. I hear they are going to try it again as an American version. I'm guessing based on the success of The Big Bang Theory.

I'd much prefer them to do another series of the British version.

I like the actor who plays Moss too - at least it seems that he's onto bigger and better things - he just directed a feature film!

As Americanizations of British series go, this wasn't terrible. It beats the Red Dwarf or Spaced attempts. Denholm Renholm wasn't weird enough and the actress playing Jenn doesn't have the same comic timing though. The biggest mistake is McHale though, he's good but far too handsome for Roy.

The UK series just finished it's fourth series, not as good as earlier but still pretty great.
