    Anbody here has Sketchbook Pro?

Amazon has it for 20% off right now...

    Amazon.com: SketchBook Pro 2010: Software

    Anybody has experienced with it?

How does it compare with Illustrator, Photoshop, Painter?

I'm thinking of getting it...but I want some advice/opinions first.

    Thanks!

let us know how it turns out.
Ok. Orphans! Listen to Ignacio. I know it is fun to wrestle. A nice piledrive to the face... or a punch to the face... but you cannot do it. Because, it is in the Bible not to wrestle your neighbour.

I also draw and paint on paper/canvass (with different mediums)...been doing it since I was a little kid...but this is a new age...and to be able to accomplish certain things...you need to do it in the computer as well.

I have my business partner who does all the computer work for me when needed. I personally have no desire to draw or color on the computer.

I just like holding my art and mixing my colors and making happy mistakes and love the crunch of a deadline.....to each his own

                  I haven't painted in 15 years.

I tried SBP, seemed fine, I know some people swear by it. I also tried Manga Studio, very impressed with it's line quality.

But in the end I just come back to Photoshop, it's what I know best.

I did get a Cintiq after all, Hector. It's the greatest thing in the world. Enjoy your new toys.

I haven't used it, but my friend Eric does. From what I gathered it's fairly simple sketching software. May be one of those programs where it would be advantageous to sketch in and then export to a format you could then paint on or color in Photoshop.

You could email the guy and ask him, he does great work: Eric Merced

Congrats on the Wacom tablet: )
