    Evicted our lodger yesterday!

    It just couldn't go on.
    The guy wouldn't let up!
He was constantly going through our things, eating our food.
    A total lack of respect!!!!

I said to my wife: "This has got to stop. When I'm watching TV, I can hear him going through our stuff in the kitchen".
The final insult was when I discovered he had crapped in a kitchen drawer! Can you believe it?
I decided "enough was enough". That mouse had to go.....
I set a trap (the "humane" kind), and yes, I trapped the little bugger.
    A little brown field mouse.
I walked over to the woods across the street, and released him.
I came home, stretched out on the couch, put on the TV, and noticed his cousin, racing through the living room and heading for the kitchen.
Anybody have a gun I can use?
    .
    .

Oh man, I love the way you make this sound as if it's an actual person.

    "CRAPPED IN A DRAWER???"

Well, at least you were humane about it.

        Should have killed him.

If you release him he'll only come back.

          probably a daddybruther

If you got one, you got more than one. You are gonna need more traps.

We just had a family move in that I evicted, tho with a bit more extreme prejudice. Took about two weeks with a peak eviction rate of 4 in one day. Grand total was 9, and there were probably more. Tho I am hoping they decided the food supply was too snappy for them and they moved to a quieter neighborhood.

Stay vigilant. You never know when they may start borrowing your socks.

If you've got 2 you could have dozens.

You need those wooden old fashion mousetraps that snap them in the head - and if you don't have a pet you need poison pellets.

Think NAM MAN!!!!!! THIS IS YOUR NAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would never recommend poison. They go off someplace in you walls and die, then stink and rot for a few days, then breed who knows what all molds and decomp buggies.

Use the old fashioned snap traps with peanut butter on them. As soon as you start catching smaller ones you know you are beginning to win, as the young are venturing out looking for food, since monny and daddy didn't come home.

I am not some viscious killer, and I generally have a soft spot for critters, but after numerous battles with these pesky and determined guys, I find that total war is the most effective methodology if you really want to get rid of them. And there are always more than 1.

I have no sympathy for pestilence. Kill, kill, kill I say. They pushed me over the edge when they knocked down my Mego Dr. McCoy and pizzed on him. After that it was snap-trap-a-palooza for the meeces! I caught 2 and no others. Couldn't believe 2 mice got so obnoxious. I was afraid it was a rat but nope. 2 mice.

Man, we don't even want to kill flies and mosquitoes nowadays, lol.
