Thundar the barbarian gets an official release

was not sure where else to post this but I am happy about it:

through the Warner Bros archive collection!! It is going to be a 4 disc set

copy and paste from their email:

    TELEVISION
After civilization is destroyed by a moon-cracking runaway comet, THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN (1980-82) and his companions, Ookla the Mok and Princess Ariel, journey from village to village, using their wit, wisdom, strength and skill to spread peace and justice across the land. This is the complete animated series presented in a 4-Disc Collection showcasing the work of comic book and animation notables including Jack Kirby, Alex Toth, Steve Gerber, and Mark Evanier.

here is a direct link to the WB store:

I was hoping for some extras. Kinda hoping there was episodes never released or interviews with whoever. I already have this on DVD, but someday i will pick up the official release.

      Thanks for posting!

Let's see how long it takes them to make the movie, now that the DVD's are coming out.

Great to hear! I was looking around to see if Thundarr had been released on DVD several months ago after watching it on Boomerang.

I remember this show. I think I was like 13 when it came out, but I was still watching Saturday morning TV. Good stuff.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
