Oh boy even more "reality Shows", but seriously if they stopped making every show on right now (incl one I like such as House and smallville) I wouldn't care. Thanks to DVD's I have lots of shows from the past I can watch/rent/buy to fill my time. Same with Cable and it's competitors. And there are alot of great shows on in reruns too
I agree, most of the stuff on TV is just unwatchable. The only network TV I watch is My Name is Earl and The Office. Besides that its discovery channel, history channel or TLC. so I'm not worried
In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.
I watch almost nothing save for Simpsons and Family Guy. I used to be really into TV but I probably wouldn't have noticed the strike if it happened. Reality shows really weaned me off everything but cable movie channels.

Heroes,The Simpsons,Family Guy is the only non sports I watch....Other than that It's all sports for me.I'd rather watch Dvd's or YouTube.....They can strike all they want hopefully it'll get rid of all those Horrible new shows.I hate reality tv shows.......
Count me in as someone who doesn't care. The only new show I watch regularly is "Family Guy". (everytime, seemingly against all odds, a good show is actually made, it ends up getting cancelled, i.e. "Arrested Development"). I'm usually watching movies on DVD, or older shows on cable or DVD. Current television is just a bunch of pap, and now that people have more alternative forms of entertainment than they did in the past, they don't have to put up with crap. The younger viewer demographic, that used to be television advertisers' bread and butter, are watching less and less TV every year. They're watching DVDs, or playing video games, or surfing the net and watching streaming video like YouTube. There's no such thing as "must see" TV anymore. Even if there is a show they want to watch, it's probably Tivoed, and watched at a later date, sans commercials. I'm sure the networks are crapping their pants, the whole market has completely changed.
This will probably kill the last season of Scrubs. They were going to have a shorter season to meet Zack Braff's salary demand but now they might tank the whole thing. This stinks! I really enjoy that show.
