Yeah it's based on the book which is in turn based on the blog....

I figured it must have been based on the blog because the book was only released a few months ago.

The book is hilarious if anyone wants a good laugh. This just seems like one of those instances where the written word is very funny and it just can't quite translate onto the screem.

I heard so many bad reviews of Shat's show that I didn't bother downloading it, I'm kind of scared to . The season premiere of Big Bang was good though. But I'm surprised they moved it to compete against Community. I don't watch any of these live so it doesn't matter to me, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd pick Community hands down (which had a great season premiere last night). I hope the new time slot doesn't hurt it too badly.

I love Community. Had my doubts when it premeired last year, but every new episode seems to be better than the previous.

Big bang was bang on and I missed shats new one.

I thought Big Bang was the funniest comedy premiere this week. I was a bit underwhelmed at the rest of the season premieres so far but Big Bang had me laughing out loud which I use to judge how funny a show is to me. Most of the rest were good but not 'rolling in the aisles' funny. I enjoyed Shat's show as well. I thought he made a great modern Archie Bunker type. I'll be watching.
