Louisiana elects Youngest Governor and with Indian Roots

I don't want to make this a political post. I am posting this as a historical event.

We elected the youngest Governor in US history last night at the age of 36. He is also of Indian decent (thats India, not American Indian). He nearly won it four years ago in a run off against the idiot Blanco.

Before running last time, he worked in D.C. cleaning up the Health & Hospitals

Actually, Jindal is only the youngest sitting governor in the US right now. He isn't even the youngest governor of Louisiana, Huey Long was 35 when he was elected. I know Bill Clinton was 32 when he was elected in Arkansas, and I believe Harold Stassen of Minnesota holds that honor at 31.

WOW, I stand corrected. I remember hearing the news the day after the election and they said youngest governor, I thought they meant in US history. The youngest was Steven Mason of Michigan, at the age of 19.

My wife said she heard the same thing that night.
