As a Time Life set, this will probably be the price for a couple years and then they will begin to release the seasons in stores minus some of the bonus material. This is how it worked with Get Smart.

A little over $40 per season is in line with what you'd pay in a store for a newly released season of something. I'm okay with it. The Hawaii Five 0's seasons cost about $40 (though the really early seasons are starting to be discounted more now) and they only have "next week" trailers for extras.

Oh wait! I was wrong, it says free shipping on the order page. I think it's only for the pre-order.

Here are the states that will add sales tax:

"Sales tax will be applied for orders shipped to CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, KY, NY, PA, TX or VA."

              Lucky me, I'm in NY.

And a side note, Bionic Woman season 1 comes out October 19. It was a mid season replacement so it's only 14 episodes (but that makes the set about the cost of a full half hour season)

Yeah and then they chickened out and left off the episode "Bored She Hung Herself" from season 2. It was only shown once and never shown again. Stupid lawyers. I did watch it on the net (Youtube I think) but it was very bad video (which makes sense for how old it had to have been) and there really was no reason to leave it out.

That was the problem. However, now it says the code is no longer valid. Just my luck. Thanks anyway

I think I read Netflix is actually going to carry these.

                      Not sure, but I think

they have an entry with dvd date unknown but they have the same listing for Buck Rogers and that becomes availble to watch instantly from time to time

The Get Smarts were not available on Netflix until they went retail (one of the reasons why I broke down and got the set)

Try it by phone, the whole thing started this week and I have to believe it's some sort of mistake.

On the bionic show fan list I look at, another person had the problem with the promo code. They called in the order instead and the code was accepted there. They said said the person answering the phone couldn't believe the big response they got for the set since it went up for preorder this week. Maybe the coupon was set to expire after a certain number of uses that they believed it wouldn't reach until a certain time so this may be adjusted. Anyway, for now, to use the code, call it in.

Okay, from what I hear, the "save20now" code is discontinued but there is also a "save30" code which will knock off $30 (just tested it in the cart and it works).
