Nah. Too sitcommie for me. I tried to like it.

Likewise. I saw a little bit and wasn't thrilled with the nerd gags. My cousin made me sit down and watch a bunch of episodes, and there were a few that made me chuckle, but not enough to keep watching. Most of it felt very contrived.

It's not my favourite, too forced. The wife thinks it's terrific though.

I prefer the nerds on Community, The IT crowd or Spaced.

I'm in this camp. Just seems like a forced sitcom about Nerds rather than a well done show. I prefer Community and 30 Rock for my geek weirdness. Check out the Batman Halloween party episode from Community and Tina Fey's always making geek references in 30 Rock. Hell, she dresses up as Princess Leia to get out of Jury Duty. Twice.

I also like Community (best new show last year IMO) and 30 Rock much better, but Big Bang is still good. I just don't like the forced laughing. I always assumed it was a laugh track, but apparently it is filmed in front of a studio audience, yet it seems that the "Laugh" sign must be continuously lit, making most of the laughs seem forced. These days I'm used to watching comedies like Community that don't have laugh tracks or a studio audience, I think it works better that way.
