    If a man, alone in the woods, voices his opinion and his wife cannot hear him...is he still automatically wrong?

    Yes.

    If you've found a place in the woods where the wife can't find you and there's no phone reception you're very wrong for being there all alone.
    It is your civic duty to inform at least two of your friends of said place, one to bring beer and the other a grill.
