Will we get too old for toys ever again?

I've seen tons of older guys ... I mean like dust farters old 75+ that still collect toys and have since they were younger, some collect stuff that didn't come out until they were in their 50's ... when I see them I realize I'm prob. in this hobby for life. I just hope I don't have to wear diapers while sitting in a motorized chair while looking through bins at flea markets.

As an adult, i've wanted to collect Mego's in the 80's and the early 2000's

The 90's and today were kind of dry for me.

You never get over wanting to collect --- It just depends on what item to collect suits your fancy at any particular time.

Funny this thread comes up. Only this morning, I was trying to picture myself at 65 still collecting toys and watching 70s Saturday morning cartoons. I dunno what the future is gonna hold, but I really hope I always let my inner child come out and play!

No never for me especially having a little Eric and showing him the ways. I would like to try other collectables one day. But Im 31 right now and still feel like a little kid when I go through the toy aisle.

I'm 48 and still collect.

Having said that...my likes have changed over the years.

First it was comic books...I was really into comic books...had thousands at one point...and I also bought many high priced ones as well.

Then I lost interest, sold most of that, and switched to Megos.

Now almost all my Megos are gone except Superman/Supergirl Megos...I'm now strictly a Superman only collector, whether it's Mego, Ideal, Remco, Kenner, lunchboxes, etc, as long as it's Superman-related.

You never know in the future...I could end up collecting Catheters and Depends...
