    I just did a Self-Administered Rhinoplasty with a Weed-Eater!!!!

    I was weedeating behind my backyard fence, clearing the weeds and bushes back about five feet from my fence. I was using the weed-eater in means it was not meant to be used, overhead. Next thing I know, a large chunk of wood came flying back and hit me in the left nostril and end of my nose. I wiped my nose and there was a little blood. Within seconds, blood was pouring from my nose, running down my throat, etc. By the time I got to the back porch, where Stacy was sitting, it looked like I cut my nose off or knocked all my teeth out. I was covered in blood from mid-nose, down to my shirt and both hands full of blood. After all said and done, the stick cut the inside of my nose and smashed my nose, basically giving me two bloody noses at one time.

    The large chucks of bloody mucus was nasty.

    I got to give it one thing, I have never breathed so clearly after I got the bleeding stopped.

    Sorry, no pictures.

    That is why I don't do yard work.

    But seriously, are you okay? Stitches?

        I didn't go to the doctor. It stopped bleeding after about five minutes, and like I said, it cleared out my sinuses.

        The cut on the inside is just a scratch. It never did hurt.

                I just wish I had taken a picture. When I say there was alot of blood, it looked like a shark bite me in the nose.

                The worst thing, I had a dip in my mouth. When I could not breath through my nose because of all the blood, I had to breath through my mouth, and blood, tobacco juice, spit, and snot was coming out of my mouth.

                  Weed Eating Safety Tip #1;

                  Keep the weed eater's cutting part beneath waist height.

                  P.S.
                  Weed eaters can fling debris violently, up to 30 feet.

                  Fact!!!

                  Glad your okay that could have cost you an eye man!!!

                    On a backyard wrestling video, I once saw what happens when the weed eater meets bare skin. Nasty.
