New York City people..need help

My wife is from Bolivia and her mom has a store there but nothing to sell.
My wife and I are tying to start business with this space. Do any NY people know of wholesale places in or around NYC that sells jewelry, clothing or women's handbags? PM me or post here please. Any help would be appreciated.

tell her to find an indoor flea market or vendor in the streets, they would know where to find wholesalers, some of the times it's them... that's how someone I know did it down here

What you're going to want to do is spend an afternoon in the Herald Square part of New York City aka "the garment district" (that's pretty much everything from 30th - 34th Streets, with a heavy concentration along Broadway and/or along 6th Ave). This area of town is just a collossal cluster of wholesale stores... one after the other of handbags, jewelry, head gear, clothing, acccessores, you name it.

Just sell the space... rent (or sublet) it out to whoever you can find sellin' whatever they can sell (legally)!
