hi i wonder if any of you could help me out here ,in a nutshell its about the recent changes to ebay paypal where by a buyer can say hes returning items gives no reason other than he wants to return them ,and paypal on proof of posting ie tracking number will refund his payment from sellers account ,it could be a empty box but if its got a tracking number they will issue a refund , now what im asking is ,if the paypal payment to the seller was listed as a gift would this prevent the buyer from being able to try this refund scam ,this would be on a transaction in no way conected to ebay ,just useing paypal as a method of payment ,thanks and gratitude to any who can help me out with this cheers chris

Using paypal without ebay they do look into things a little closer, than the automatic FU when using ebay. I cannot say if it would prevent the scam but it would be something they would not automatically take action with and go their old route of looking into the matter..however if they changed that ruling as well....."What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"
