hell yeah, and knowing what I know now i would make a hideway in my bedroom wall and sheetrock and tape over and repaint it so it would still be case fresh when I took it out 35 years later

I still remember in 1985 i went to a giant kb. Hasbro had been putting out tons of the new gi-joes. You guys remember the 1985 figs? Well i had $50 bucks and when we got there they had what seemed to me then a whole row of nothing but gi-joe. I just remember there being gi-joe everywhere. I ended up getting Storm Shadow of course as the 84SS is my all time favorite. I remember getting Snake eyes of course and the twins. A couple crimson guards, flint and quick kick. Then i saw the killer whale and it was on sale for $14.99 and the Rattler. So i made a trade with my best friend who i was there with for some star wars figures and he picked up the difference in money i was short. Man would i love to go back to that day with my pocket full of cash. I'd be retired now cause i'd be buying some SW POTF figs as well.

Not sure I'd have more toys, but I'm sure I would have treated the ones I had much better. And if there was a VHS and a camera (which we did not have back in the day) I know I would have taped a lot of what was on TV those days as well as getting more photos taken of me, my buddies, the school, and the older people that's no longer around.

my mind reels at this bizarre thread...
although the most i'm pulling from this is that toys2cool, upon further reflection, was handsome enough but sadly too SHY for lady friends and their mountainous desire for him...
unless he's referring to the fact that he would use his future brain's EXPERIENCE to seduce and or manipulate these teenagers to bed with him which is a different story...
I went to an all boys high school so I do not share toys2cool's desire to go back in time to have congress with classmates...

I do remember being six years old and seeing a Boba Fett on a 1979 SW card at Kiddie City and wishing I could buy it and store it away for future investment

Yes, this... Then it won't matter if you bought the toys the first time around and then crated them up. You would be robbing yourself of the memories of playing with them... The reason you loved those toys in the first place is because of how they made you feel then, playing with them. Buy the toys... Play with the toys... Invest accordingly with your future knowledge and buy them again later at will!

Well I certainly wouldn't have tied up money in the 90s Star Wars figures but I'd go back to 1982 and pick up the Greatest American Hero bug sets I saw at Kay-Bee.
