Very close on weight, less torque , geared higher and now about 250 HP to shy.

But I'll give you a shot a the crown.

with upgraded injectors and upgraded turbos I could hit over 800hp all for around $2k if i do the work myself

Funny that this thread came up but I wouldn't waste a dime on your Purple Rain buddy keep that car the way it is or sell to a chicky. Get something thats gonna be worth it bro 87-93 mustang are a dime a dozen and can find really good parts cheap and can some serious HP quick. Heck even by getting a 03-04 Cobra supercharged and with little mods can be in the 600+HP quickly.Stay away for the Buick GN as well because I got hook and it never ended heres mine little V6 with 650hp. Just finished it in March this year and is a head turner!!!

I love the GNs and GNXs. You gotta love a V6 that will kick the snot out of a lot of V8s.


I worked for a Buick dealer in the mid to late 80's and had fun test driving those monsters.

I really didn't know to much about the GN's until my bestfriend bought a 86 T Type,and a 87 GN at the same time......got them both on a very sweet deal. We has built a Syclone so it was about the same concept as the GN. So I knew what this little V6 could go to all these V8's. So Im very big mustang guy by heart but wanted something of a challege! The power of a mustang on the Dope,or Boosted was to easy to get out of them. I just wanted something evil looking something that you don't see all the time. So building this car and some serious cash for three years really paid off because all the car meets of shows a swarm of bees come at us asking what it has power,etc. This car is really nuts that people on the highway break there necks,and get many thumbs up! I got offered a 2002 Dodge Viper GTS and cash for it but I have many many hours on this car and Im really thinking about it. The only drawback is my 3yr old loves this car and I can take him with us,the viper I would have to stick him in the trunk!!! J/K!!!

O chet son I here a challenge now!!! D is correct on this one but you would have to get this bad boy tuned on the money,get better cams,run a little better fuel,bigger fuel pumps,and get some good tires.Turn the boost to about 25 pounds and shift that bad boy like you stole it!!!!!
